FRIDGE REORGANIZATION TIME! A clean refrigerator = a clean lifestyle. I have been wanting to cook more food at home and meal prep, but without an organized fridge, it's been difficult to achieve that goal. So it was time to declutter, organize and start cleaning out my fridge! Time for a KITCHEN ORGANIZATION! At the end of the deep clean, I give you a fridge tour and show you what's in my fridge!

By working with @horderly (my favorite personal organization team), I learned how to clean your fridge, how to organize your kitchen, and how to simplify your space. I picked up a ton of home organizing and spring cleaning tips for an overall organized and clean kitchen.

I totally overhauled my refrigerator and made it as sustainable as possible (HELLO Package Free glass jars!), while also making it highly functional for me and my wellness lifestyle.

You'll notice we don't have any meat in the fridge. While Michael and I do eat meat, we just prefer not to cook it ourselves at home, so we typically purchase our meat already cooked from high-quality restaurants and grocers. That's why this fridge contains mostly fruits & veggies! ๐ŸŒถ ๐ŸŒฝ ๐Ÿฅ’ ๐Ÿ† ๐Ÿฅ• ๐Ÿฅ” ๐Ÿฅ— ๐Ÿ  ๐Ÿ…

Humans create over 2 billion tons of garbage every year. We all have to live with that. Others are doing something about it: They're making vegan leather from rotten mangoes, recycling plastic into bricks, stuffing teddy bears with cigarette butts, and lacing up sneakers made from shopping bags. Welcome to World Wide Waste, a series about the messes we make and how people deal with them.

Before lockdown WIRED visited Veolia's recycling plant in Southwark, South London, to ask about some of the most common recycling myths. Do you need to remove the plastic lid when you recycling a water bottle? What do you do with those widgets in Guinness cans? What do all the green symbols mean?

Veolia handles the waste from more than two million Londoners. Every single hour it processes 14 tonnes of recyclable content that we throw away.

This video was produced as part of Digital Society, a publishing partnership between WIRED and Vontobel where all content is editorially independent.

Do you ever feel like Orange County is so conservative they closed almost all of the recycling centers to ward of homeless people who love to recycle? Well I have to go to Mission Viejo to recycle. But at least there's a cool little cafe there called Higher Grounds and a lovely little hiking area with statues and bridges, a peace obelisk and an Earth Day monument.

It's Earth Day, and even though veganism is clearly the greatest thing you can do for the environment, one can always do more. And I'm not one to shirk my responsibilities.

Lek is doing a great job trying to convince people in the village to recycle garbage. People don't really care here, they don't understand and it will take time. I am really grateful to have her by my side!

Hang out with Anji and Ryan on a busy Saturday whilst they work on minimizing a wee bit. The duo travel to nearby port town, San Pedro, to deliver stuff at a hazardous materials drop off station -- where they run into an LA Fruitluck Meetup pal -- then mail out CDs at a historic art deco post office and grab a bite at a new raw vegan cafe. On the way back, they shop at a Cambodian market for mangoes, which Anji uses for some yummy fruit tacos. But wait, there's more! Check it all out and let us know what you think in the comments section. :)

Thank you to Clear On Plastics for sponsoring today's video. Let me know your thoughts on plastics and if you learnt something new in the comments below.

Today we discuss: Why recycling is SO important? This video focuses mostly on plastic as it is a material that has caused a lot of controversy and is largely misunderstood. Whilst also touching on other materials such as paper, glass and metal.
