Vegan in Paris! A whole day of eating & drinking only plant-based foods in Paris & some tips and tricks for you!

Hellloo lovelies (:
The second video in our little paris series is a where to eat in Paris (vegan edition).

Quick disclaimer: I was fully vegan for 6 years and I now eat sustainable fish & eggs occasionally. On our trip I tried dairy for the first time in years as I didn’t want my diet choices to dictate our trip too much. My partner isn’t vegan but is when he’s with me (: This was my second time in Paris whilst vegan, and it hasn’t gotten easier since last time. I’ll link all the places mentioned before and any other places we visited throughout the trip with great options!

My top tips for travelling to Paris as a vegan:
⭐️ Buy a little bottle of dairy free milk to enjoy with your coffee either in your hotel or at cafes (as it’s not common for places to offer any alternative milks to full cream!) the little coffee carts around paris usually have options, my favourite was Cafe Kitstume!

⭐️ Have a few places in mind of where to eat in the general area you’re heading each day & check their menus before

⭐️ Make a trip to one of the vegan/gf bakeries and buy some croissants for the next few days so you can experience the Parisian breakfast properly each morning if there isn’t one nearby where you’re staying ☺️

⭐️ & finally, don’t beat yourself up if you want to try something that has dairy, eggs etc. in it, you’re travelling - enjoy it and don’t let what good you do the other 364 days of the year taint your Parisian experience!

Let's explore vegan food in Barcelona! Being vegan in Spain and more speficially vegan in Barcelona is not difficult with this handy vegan travel food guide to help you find vegan food in Spain.

First, let's go check out a restaurant that serves vegan paella and tapas called BarCeloneta Sangria Bar. We will try the vegan paella topped with vegan shrimp, along with the fried gnocchi. We will then head over to the famous Vegan Junk Food Bar, originally started in Amsterdam, but now is a vegan chain restaurant and has a location in Barcelona. We will try the fried mac and cheese balls along with the fried vegan shrimp. We will continue our vegventure over to an all vegan sushi bar called Roots and Rolls. We will try the gyoza tacos, a fusion dish between a taco and a gyoza dumpling. Next, we will check out a HUGE all vegan grocery store. Afterwards, we will continue on to the highest rated vegan restaurant in Barcelona called CactusCar Bar. We will try some of their homemade zucchini soup and homemade bread, and continue by trying some Huera chicken nuggets, fries, and corn. We will end the feast there will a banana bread cake. And for the last restaurant in this episode, we will explore Tulsi, an all vegan restaurant serving a variety of international inspired cuisines. We will try the seitan chili and the croquettes.

Hopefully this vegan travel Spain edition guide (and also a vegan travel Europe edition guide) will assist you with your travels in Barcelona!
