Max recently turned one year old, and we thought we'd compile our journey over the past 6 months, introducing him to solid foods on a plant-based diet. From purees, to smoothies, to baby led weaning, we've tried it all! Hopefully you will find this video both fun and informative, and a good jumping off point to continue to do your own research. This is just our experience, and we are not experts, so be sure to educate yourself and consult your healthcare practitioner if you're a parent introducing your child to solid foods!

Many consider vegetarians the new superheroes, able to stop climate change and global warming. They eat no meat and so have a reduced carbon footprint. But is that really true? An avocado can actually do more damage to the environment than a steak. Environmental vegetarianism – fact or fiction?

I want to acknowledge the indigenous land that I was on for the duration of my stay - While here for about a week, my intention was to leave as little of a mark as possible, acknowledging my positionality & knowing that I am just a temporary visitor on this land that is not my home- supporting indigineous farmers and businesses whenever possible & spending my days outside, gently in nature. I visited last month & will not be returning anytime soon so as to honor the island’s wishes. Thank you for having me and giving me the space to heal and shed. I am eternally grateful.
