↠ RECIPES
☆ RED JUICE (what would you name it?)
* 6 gala apples
* 8 medium rainbow carrots
* 1/2 beet (Use 1/4 beet for a less earthy taste)
* 12 valencia oranges
* 1/2 thumb ginger (for extra spice, optional)
* Lime juice (as much as desired, tastes even better with it!)
☆ BERRY CHIA PUDDING SMOOTHIE
* 4-5 frozen bananas
* 1-1.5 cup frozen blueberries
* 2.5 tsp blue spirulina
* 1 scoop of Sunwarrior vanilla protein
* 1 cup frozen mixed berries
* 2 cups coconut water
* Add 1-2 tbsp of chia seeds per layer and top off with any frozen berry of your choice
☆ MANGO SWEET N SPICY SALSA
* 1.5-2 cups (3 cobs) sweet corn
* 1 medium on the vine tomato (diced)
* 2 cups of cherry tomatoes (quartered)
* 1 jalapeno (diced)
* 1 avocado (sliced)
* 3 ripe red mangos (diced)
* 1 cup green onion
* .5 cup micro cilantro (diced)
* 2 tsp himalayan pink salt
* 2 tsp Jada Spices vegan “chicken” salt lime)
* 1 tsp black pepper
* 1 tbsp dried cilantro
* Romaine leaves
* Raw Vegan Ranch
☆ BASIL ZOODLE PESTO PASTA
* 1/2 cup pine nuts
* 3/4 cup olive oil
* 1/4 cup water
* 1 tsp himalayan salt
* 1 tsp black pepper
* 1 cup basil
* 1/2 lemon (juiced)
* 2 zucchinis (spiraled)
* Top with cherry tomatoes (feel free to add whatever toppings you’d like)

I want to acknowledge the indigenous land that I was on for the duration of my stay - While here for about a week, my intention was to leave as little of a mark as possible, acknowledging my positionality & knowing that I am just a temporary visitor on this land that is not my home- supporting indigineous farmers and businesses whenever possible & spending my days outside, gently in nature. This is part 2 of our LA Vegan Fashion Week 2019 vlog. We were VIP attendees of the first ever Los Angeles Vegan Fashion Week and experienced a first look at select pieces created by animal-free designers from around the world. The show featured avant-garde designs including faux-leathers made from pineapple fibers and apple skins, as well as other items made with sustainable practices such as natural dyes and recycled materials. Also, we had a spur-of-the-moment interview with Jane Velez-Mitchell (aka Jane Unchained) and Moby! Amazing time and so excited for the noticeable change that coming in high fashion!

Recently I have been receiving a lot of questions about pets. Should vegans have them? Should anyone own anyone else, human or not? Are you a hypocrite if you have pets but also fight for animal liberation?
I may be slightly biased as someone who shares my home with two wonderful adopted cats, but I'm going to jump into this question all the same.
